Yeah I know..

The "color effect" will change depending how bright they are and also depending how new/old they are...

.. and what ever camera, camera setting, or camera angle is used (when pics are taken)

I'm actually in agreement with vroomin. I never made it to his house but I was given a 2012 IS250 as a loaner from JM Lexus and I swear these LED's in this headlight look "sharper" then on the 2011's. It's hard to describe. I think Vroomin was on the money when he said they're not brighter just a slightly different color. They look very very crisp yet not brighter. It sorta gives the illusion that they're brighter tho.

^Not sure what you mean MDOTM, but I will say once you see the newer REVISED headlamps from Lexus and compare the old style LED section to the new style which seems a cooler white rather then the old styles warmer white (the newer ones look "sharper"/crisp to me too) you'll wonder why you got the old style...


JoeZ have you gone by the dealership and compared? My 2011 headlights (old style) compared to a newer 2012 that had 8 mines on the odometer look bad next to it. The newer style LED's look great to me. My old style looks "just ok"

I'm actually kind digging those lights, but the 8000K (or whatever the color may be) is just a little too ricey for me.

Regardless of colors (dont really like the blue either), that lighting package is SICK.
Projector fogs AND highbeams, fitted with halos (which I normally dont like)... props

I compared my '11 lights to '12 lights on Sunday and they looked identical to me. I have pretty good eyesight too and I couldn't tell a difference.

Doesn't the brightness affect the color? Maybe one of the cars was on and the other was off. Different power output if the car is on or if the car is off....just sayin' it does make a difference.
