JoshIS408 has painted glossy black emblems (NOT Plastidip). That should give you some idea of what they'd look like though.

If you're going through all the trouble trying to get gloss emblems, I don't see why y'all don't just paint them with actual paint? emblems aren't that expensive to replace if that's the hold up

I agree. Mostly I think its because you can do it with the emblems installed on the car, its a PITA to remove them and put them back CAREFULLY

You know what you can do if you're good at removing the excess plastidip:

You can layer in 4 coats of plastidip then paint and clear over them.

^ It's still cheaper than buying new emblems! If no one is gonna do it, I will. I wanna do my stock wheels in glossy graphite and my emblems in fake black pearl.

How about the gun metal color they offer on dip your car.com / does anyone tried that before on their emblems? With glossy over it.

In my experience on my 3GS it had gloss black painted headlight surrounds and grille surround. It was all chipped up. I plastidiped it 6 months ago and not one chip. It has a nice satin black look that compliments matador better and holds up a lot better than paint. It's been in basically hurricane rain, washed by hand once a week, buffed waxed you name it. Still looks good. I'll try this if it makes it to stores and I still have the 430.
