Default Philips Xenon HID Conversion Kit!

Yes, finally it arrived after being so long out of stock from Japan for months!

Here are the pics! I plan to put them on my car for the fog lights and will hold off until the TSIB for the headlamp bubbling issue is out, therefore can perform both work at the same time.

Philips only makes these in 4200K and 6000K.

I have this same kit in 4200K but am not using it. Might sell it.

Yes it's genuine - I got it from forum vendor Nigel-JDMParts.

I've also seen it in the Aberdeen Center mall in Richmond back in Canada where they have a shelf full of them - costs higher, but I went with Nigel for the better price.

Are you installing these as fogs or low beams? I have OEM HIDs on my 2011, but they dont seem as bright as my TSX :-/

It more to do with the projector them self than the bulbs. Lexus made there projector cheap.

They will be used for the fog lights, which I purchased the H11 bulbs which is correct for the car.

I have OEM HID's as well but have Philips Ultinon D4S 6000K bulbs on the ready to put them in when I get the conversion and the headlamp TSB done at the same time.

It's not really that they're cheap, it's mainly due to the limited space in the IS' headlights which meant using a side-entry bulb. Due to that it results in a much narrower beam pattern.

Honestly I don't find them that much dimmer than other car's HID's, just not as wide.

Maybe.

I have factory HID's now (non-LED), so if I used the kit, it would be for the fog lights, which I don't really use. I just don't see the point in putting them in if I'm not going to use them anyway.

Maybe.
