I believe the IS250 has 2 piston calipers (One on each side of the rotor)

The IS350 is 4 (2 on each side of the rotor)

No, it is a single piston. The IS300 had dual piston (though they were both on the inside), the IS250 has a single piston.

Lexus.com is wrong. It's easy enough to see just walking by the car and looking at the brake caliper. For some reason Lexus.com has been incorrect for years.

Every other piece of information about the car lists it correctly, including all of the repair manuals, NCF books, and EPC catalogs.

I'm not...

For years they listed the Mark Levinson option (ML only, no Nav) as including a DVD player. It doesn't.

When I got my car and realized no DVD player I contacted Lexus corporate, and they sent me a check for the MSRP of the Mark Levinson option as compensation.... and shortly thereafter removed the ML-only option from the website entirely (rather than fixing it).

When the website was updated for 2009 models the ML-only option was back. Still listing a DVD player that it didn't actually come with.

(the option no longer exists in case anyone goes to look now BTW).

Lexus.com also listed the sport package as including the illuminated scuff plates when the 2008 update was done. It doesn't actually, but the website said it did.

Another call to lexus corporate and they sent a tech out to me to swap illuminated scuff plates on for free.

So they do make mistakes, more often than you'd think... but given I'm up over $1000 at this point from them I'm not complaining

I once parked my M3 next to a Mazda 3 with M3 badges at a body shop. Caught the guy coming out of the body shop. Exchanged glances. Awkward.

Yeah, It sucks that you had to go through the hassle ... But at least they corrected the mistakes for you.

I can't believe what kind of hating is going on in this thread... When someone here posts BBS reps with BBS caps and i call them out on it for FAKING THE FUNK~ i get called a hater... so... faking the funk with car mdl type is bad yet faking the funk with wheels is ok???

Not sure why anyone would want to do that, what a joke. It's like people that put M badges on their 325. Just shave the badges if you're so ashamed about what you drive.
