Default Led inside the Projector

I was searching a lot but no luck has anyone done this to put a LED inside the projector housing

Yea, I saw another car with red led's inside the housing and it had a red glow to it

Hahaha, I've been looking into this exact mod over the past couple of weeks. I don't believe anyone has done it yet on a 2IS - it would obviously have to be a custom job.

same here i saw it a long time ago but never looked into it but then i saw this mod again and i thought to myself this would be an awesome DIY this is the car i found that has that

Thats Anhs evo.

Few of my buddies attempting to do something like this awhile back in a spare headlight set we had but it was not succesfull. Last i heard there was not enough room or something was in the way of the projector.

Its probably not that hard to do. The only big thing is that you will have to drill a small hole through the actually projector housing. You can probably splice in the wiring to work with your city light bulbs.

It sounds like its easy but I think I need a little more research before ill try it

I'm going to attempt this myself. I'm doing a fog light projector retrofit this week and will try to put an LED inside the projectors for the fogs and it that works, I'll do the headlights.

Any idea what color I should go for? Wanting something either blue, green, pink, or red. My car is black with blacked-out headlights and yellow-painted projector shrouds. Also, what light are most who do this using? I'm guessing I'll do a single T10 LED but any other options that aren't too bright?

If your car is fully blacked out I would do it red or white
