Default polishing oem alloy wheel

has anyone polish their oem alloy wheel and got good result, if so what product did you use

Polishing as in making them look like chrome or polishing as in just shining them up some?

Polishing to mirror finish on the stock wheels would be a massive PITA lol

Be aware that some OEM wheels are painted silver and other just have a clearcoat / sealer. Polishing them as to make them chrome like busdepot said wouldnt be the best idea and they might oxidize quickly due to no sealant.
