I would take the mini van... 4 rims n tires will fit in the car snugly

Are you lowered? If you aren't you'll be ok. If you are, you should probably roll your fenders an quarters to be safe.

Fine for carrying the tires/rims back? Or for the 275s?

Or you can just mount the tires to the wheels. I've never tried to fit 4 wheels in my car, but Frosty250, who I bought my wheels from, fit all 4 of them in his IS.

2 tires each side. These are 235/35 and 225/25 I think

they FIT but is it WORTH it? no way.
Youll have the weight of the wheel imprints on your leather and you risk having tire marks all over the car too.

I carried 4 19" rims and 4 19" tires before in the IS without a spare tire in the well though
