Default Just Washed, Hard Wired & Mounted the Radar

Passport 9500ix - hardwired and with a Blendmount - Love it!!!

Made use of the sunny weather today =)

Nice!!! I had this same mount in my IS300 - was happy that it fit in the new one LOL!!! But instead of using the passport hardwired I had before - i decided to buy a stealthcord off ebay for $10 so much shorter and easier to install - especially if you don't mind having the extra box with the mute button and signal lights.

I tinted the windshield too so it kind of helps with not having the radar as noticeable as well

It just looks so much better without the coil wire hanging down, clean!

You should make a DIY thread for this. Others might benefit from this. Don't know if it is the same for all radar scanner but at least the general instructions is there.

Great setup by the way. Love it.

If i ever tint my windows, I'm going to tine my windhield too. Btw, I see your neighbors behind you like driving nice car too.
