Default Wheel Alignment Needed?

I have my IS350 at the dealership right now and just got an email that they see wear on all four of my tires on the inside edge. This is a $99.95 charge. Is this wear normal on our cars or should I get this alignment?

Is your car dropped?

No, brand new super sports on the rears with maybe 4,000 miles on them. Also the fronts (cant remember the model now) look to have maybe 10,000 miles if that on them. I had never noticed wear honestly.

Yeah, you have a toe/caster issue then. Definitely get an alignment done.

By the way, I just got one a week ago and with the dealership coupon from their website the alignment was for only $69.99 + $5 in shop supplies.

If you do actually have inner tire wear, you probably should get an alignment. $100 from a dealership isn't bad, but you should be able to save a bit if you go with an independent shop. I would do the latter and get a second opinion at the same time.

What about Firestone? For $150-ish (don't remember exactly how much), you can get life-time alignment.

Okay, thanks guys. I have approved the repair, but also asked about any possible service specials.
