ill be done with mine soon and the spoiler line will continue through quarters like the BMW. It can easily be done with a little know how and effort.

So now that you have had your molded spoilers for some time, is there any issues with cracking or other paint related issues?
I've just received my authentic Wald spoiler and been to a couple of body shops to get a quote to get it painted/fitted, however everytime I enquire about getting it molded - they advise against it because of different properties between the fibreglass spoiler and the metal boot will contract at different rates in heat/cold causing the paint to crack over the molded portion.
Just wondering how the majority of you have found it since installed or if I need to find a specialist shop with some confidence and experience with this process?

Being in Australia, I'm not sure how our weather/temperature might differ from the US where you are.
What materials did your shop use to do the mold/blend? Was it a fibreglass compound or some other material? I think from reading the thread others have stated Duroglass?

Thanks for that, so your car is daily driven, left out in the sun during the day and that sort of situation?

They should use ever coat kitty hair then finish off with some puddy. I've had multiple cars with molded spoilers and 0 issues. Then again I do all of my own work and don't rely on a strangers work. I do recommend stronger decklid shocks to make up for the spoiler weight. Slamming will cause it to crack. Have them Glue AND bolt the spoiler on before molding so you know it won't come loose

I wish you guys were closer to us in Louisiana. You're all going to go crazy when you see the quarters were making to follow the spoiler lines
