It's rediculous to think if you own a 7 series you will be paying toyota prices on repairs. It's the cost of owning a flagship bmw vehicle, but I do agree that the repair costs are overpriced.

Dumb people keep their BMW's past the 4/50 warranty.
Otherwise a BMW with free maintenance and warranty isn't bad.
OK,maybe not the pre '11 335 with the dual turbos and high pressure fuel pump problems.

Should have got extended warranty
I own BMW. Only complaint with my 335 before was fuel pump issues which was covered under warranty.

Dumb BMW drivers keep their car after warranty ends. Plus, they don't get extended warranty. BMW maintenance and repair prices are crazy high.

Although a lot of cute girls drive BMW.

If you bought your BMW CPO if still under 50k miles/4 year it should still have warranty. If not, you can purchase extended warranty (variety of packages) anywhere from $1,000-3,500 in the long run will save you a lot of money. Not to mention the warranty usually will cover until 100k miles. The only other fee you pay is the 1 hour labor inspection on the car prior to purchasing the extended warranty. The inspection is for any pre-existing issues.
