How much time did you spend at the dealer when you bought your car?

NONE! I was deployed to Iraq in '09 when I bought the car. Didn't even test drive it. Sent some emails to the Lexus Dealer and my bank and they did all the rest. I didn't even pick it up from the dealer. My parents went and got it.

Lucky for me, I only need little over an hour to get the deal done. I shop online first, price check a few dealer close to me. email them my offer (of course out the door price). Longo Lexus give me very good deal that i couldn't pass it so i make an appointment and they hold the car for me (got VIN # on their website)
All i do at dealer is final test drive and paperwork.
The funniest thing is financial guy is trying to get more money from me. EX i need to borrow $20000 and my interest is only 1% so payment should be around $342 but some how he told me my payment gonna be $373 which is 4.5% of interest. I told him recalculate again due to my amount is difference. finally i got him by showing him my calculation.
Overall, I'm very happy with my car. Thanks Longo Lexus
