As for the cluster pic, there was more than that but it was one of the pics which I sent to the dealership which I complained about - in person I showed them the rest as they inspected the car. It was also on the clear plastic part of the cluster which had lines and finger prints as well on both in and outside.
Took them two other times to get the cluster right. First time, it was still marked up... The second time was perfect, as they used 3M painters tape all over it to be "very careful". I agree with RDIS250AWD that 3M painters should not of been needed for the cluster, but they did that because they kept messing up.
As for the silver trim, if they did use 3M painters (as what they claim they say), why is it still marked up? I have no clue how they get tool marks on there as they must not be careful enough when they do their work. If it were me working on the car, I make sure things are done properly and if I messed it up, I take the blame. Considering, I use to do tech work as a hobby on the computer hardware side as I am a IT Professional.
They had worked on my 07 car which I had, where they needed to access the steering wheel and cluster, those did not have any scratches at all. I also worked on a 99 Solara Camry where I needed to replace a light in the cluster myself, no scatches.
Don't want to be a PITA, but this should not be happening.

Had the dealership look at it and they will order me a new set of silver trims. Corporate has been in in touch with me as well and will follow up.
Thanks to our own Jeff Lange, he was able to explain to me how this could of easily happened. The airbag was not carefully installed because it has a metal backing and it likely skimmed the silver trims (scratching them) in the process which is easy to do if not careful and precise.
This time when the dealership installs it, I will make sure the 3M painters tape is protecting the new trims before the installation.
