Default What do you pay for your ISx50 insurance?

I just finished switching to Geico and was relieved to find out that it was "only" $2100 for 6 months (down from about $3000 from my previous insurer). Sure I'm only 20 years old, but I have no accidents or tickets on my record.

Just wondering what you guys pay!

LOL. what!??!

You pay $6000 a year for car insurance with a clean record?! God Damn!!! I'm guessing you drive a 350? But even then, $6k a year is

I have an IS250, got it after i turned 22, insurance has been ~$2200 full coverage, low deductibles too. I have one red light ticket on my record as well that's not coming off till 2012. I would have sold my IS by now if i had to pay nearly 3x that for car insurance!

Just keep in mind - everyone's insurance here is going to vary from yours. Everyone will have different limits, different deductibles, driving records, cars, discounts, etc there's SO many factors that go into how much everyone pays for car insurance. But $6k a year for insurance is straight highway robbery if your record is clean!

This.

Just like the last 23 threads on this exact topic.

Asking other people what they pay, unless they live in the same place as you (right down to the neighborhood) and have the same record, age, marital status, years driving, etc is not going to accomplish much.

FWIW I pay around 600 bucks a year, full coverage, on an IS350 with USAA.

See how useless that info is to you?

wow, $2100 is straight up nuts... and for 6 months. i wonder why it's so high if you have a clean record. only thing i can think of that would make it that high is because of your age makes you a high liability. i pay about $850 every year for GEICO.

My insurance right now runs me $383/6 months for liability only. That's with a local company. The cheapest known insurance company cheapest was Nationwide and they wanted $1200/6 months for liability. Full coverage from the company I got right now would be $2300 for 6 months and $4000 for 6 months full coverage cheapest from State Farm. I'm 19 right now with license for two years and owned the car over a year. However, just got into an accident a few weeks ago and I was at fault. So I'll see how much insurance will rise in April.

I can't believe people don't run full coverage on these cars. You're crazy!

$585 for 6 months thru progressive, full coverage, good protection, and low deductibles.
