Default what accessory did you have on your is350

are any of those useful? I am considering the paint protection film but I am not sure if it is necessary. should any of those come with a new purchase?
And what do you think about the spoiler? Everyone in my family hates it and I have no special feelings toward it. Anybody thinks it is aesthetically appealing?

And the parking radar, can I buy one from amazon and take it to a shop for installation?

Door edge guards $115[1]
Paint protection film [2] $429[1]
Rear bumper applique $76[1]
Rear spoiler $389[1]

Wheel locks $73[1]

Cargo net - envelope $64[1]
Carpet cargo mat $105[1]

I don't think the info is accurate. What package is the dealership actually selling. If you're looking at Lexus.com, it does not provide proper information of what the region carries.

As for paint film proection, have it done by independent company - dealership charges too much. It worth it thou because you the film can save you money by replacing the film if it gets damaged as opposed to repainting the car which costs more - implying also compromising the factory paint as well.

The spoiler looks good in my opinion and usually all the cars that I see on the lot has that option. All the other minor accessories you can order off sewell with a discounted price by logging in with your CL account and the paint protection film can be quite expensive. Really depends on where you want it installed front bumper, half the hood, side mirrors and what not can add up to be pricey even at a shop. A shop in NC I got quoted with was 500-600$ range for all of that but I didn't end up getting it.

The PPF although pricey is a pretty good investment given that the paint on new cars are soft and chip easily. I got the PPF done aftermarket by a local installer that specializes in the Avery Nano Fusion. I went with this new product due to the technology behind it and the fact that it does more than 18" of the hood. That's one of the problems of 3M Clear Bra - 18" rolls and orange peel. The Nano Fusion comes in 60 and 72" rolls. They are able to cover the entire hood. No line running across the hood and front fenders! I pad $1200 for the bumper, full hood, both front fenders, headlights, door edges, and door handle wells. Can't say enough about it and it's well worth the price IMO. No rock chips and having to worry about repainting and matching it up.
