ive ordered my is350, but the dealer said theres a delay of the delivery so the car is not here yet, and i heard there's a remodel of 2013 is350 coming out, i need suggestion of if i should keep the 2012 fsport 350 or wait untill 2013? thanks!!!!

Definitely wait for the refresh model if I were you.. Should be out next year!

Usually first year car is experimental for future improvements, I have the first year (2006) IS350, it had many recalls too (still a great car). Do the research for the future IS, if 2012 is last year for the current model, then it is the best 2nd Gen. Good luck :-)

I just bought a 2012 a few days ago, the thing is clean!
According to the pictures the redesign doesn't look as sharp, get the '12!!

unless you don't have a choice, meaning don't have a car right now to drive for a year, i would wait for the gen 3 IS. you'll be regret for 6,7 years after you bought the '12 every time you see a gen 3 on the street.

If you are not in a rush, just wait it out.

If you don't like the next gen of IS (3IS), then buy the 2012 for dirt cheap. They should have some left and it will be alot cheaper since the next gen is out.

I would wait . i had placed my order for a 2012 gs350 until i saw the 2013 model i canceled my order and placed it towards the newer gen . like others have posted above you will be good for another 5-7 years with the refresh model .
