I agree! Usually the last year or two of the older generation has had all of the "kinks" and "bugs" worked out. Lease a '12 for a 2-3 years, then jump into a '14 or '15. Either way you'll love the car!!

Nvm I just called and canceled my order, I feel like my cars resale price will lose a lot when the 2013 comes out, I'm so sad now! Is the 2013 for sure a new refresh

Wait!
The '13 is not a refresh,it's a fresh new 3rd generation.

Eh nobody really knows when the 3IS will be out. It's all speculation at the moment.

If i were you though, i'd pick up a used IS350 for now and then trade it in for the 3IS when it does release if you like it

From what I understand and what I've been told briefly by some Lexus folks at the auto show is that they will be gearing all their models to get similar styling like the new GS; specifically the "hour-glass" type grille.

If your not in a rush, I would hold off on purchasing unless you really need a new car now. Like many have already said, you could also get a better deal on a 2012 once the 2013 models hit. There is also talk of producing a 2-door IS fsport coupe... but then again, just rumors.

Here are some "leaked" or Japan Photoshopped pic's of the the supposed 2013 redesign. I'm sure you can google and find more.

I don't know man... that front-end on the red Fsport coupe in that picture looks Hawt. That GS hour-glass grille would look sick on an IS.
