Hey guys,

I really would like to take the plunge and get some wheels for my leased ride. I am drooling over Axis S5s in gunmetal or bronze for my SWP.

So the 2010 RWD stock tires are 225/40 F, 255/40 R

Could these be stretched to fit 19 x 8.5 Axis S5s? If not, do the 18" Axis S5s seem larger than normal 18 inchers?

It's bad enough spending 3 months of PMTS on wheels. I would REALLY like to avoid getting new tires. right now, i have almost 2 years left on the lease. the car is a DD, and i really could care less about the performance level of new tires or upgraded tires, for that matter.

thanks guys. going to look into 18 axis s5s for now.

ideally, i would love to pickup a set of used 19s with tires. but im sure its pretty hard to come by.

if i wanted to go staggered, could the stock 255/40s be stretched over rear 18 x 9.5s???

any possible rubbing issues? im dropped on tein s springs.
