Default Has Anyone Tried This Mod? (Angel Eyes)

I know LEDs in headlights are a big "cool mod" but has anyone here ever done angel eyes on a IS? I mean I love the aggressive profile of the IS and wondered if it is possible to either do an LED Angel eyes or a Angel Eyes fab.

Yes, it's been done before (but not in awhile). See below for some posts.

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...ics-added.html

I searched "angel eyes" and found these, but I'm sure that searching some interchangeable words (ie- halo rings) may find others as well.

Not something that I would do, I have had them done on my 1IS and the lights never were the same quality as when they were new. In addition they always break in some manner along with looking bad compared to stock.

I done them on my fog lights a month ago. Everyone I know thinks that they look sick and makes them want to do it on their cars as well. I want to do them to my headlights but I'm hesitant cause if a single LED in the ring or the CCFL tube burns out, I'm will not be happy having to bust open the headlights again to change them out. I can deal with that on the fogs but not the headlights.

If you have seen Alberts 1IS with halos... you know it looks sick

But I don't think it looks as good on the 2IS - shape of our headlights are not as "flat" as the 1IS (or BMWs where it all started)

IS300's look great with halos. So do the Dodge Chargers. I was driving home one day on the right lane of highway about to get off and some IS300 with bluish halos caught my attention from the other side of the highway going the other direction like 6 lanes over.

Aside from the whole biting off BMW thing, the curvature of the 2IS high beam housing makes halos look funny IMO.
