wow, i can only imagine what it cost you. my shop charges me $35/hr but ive been going there for years and i send them other business.
i bought a replica wald and it was back in the box for return within 30 mins. the reason i bought the replica was because i was going to mold it so if it wasnt perfect i could fix it in the molding process. the fitment was horrible! theres was about a 3/4 inch gap on one side and and about a 1/2 gap on the other plus the bottom was so uneven. i went ahead an bought an authentic wald and the fitment was perfect. i molded it to the trunk with panel bond and glaze. the sides and bottom are molded flush and the top is semi molded or seamless. i spent about $80 on materials (doesnt include paint, i paint the whole car with all the mods i did) and like the way it turned out. this pic was taken before the truck was realigned.
