iPhone 4s and 2011 A2DP
Hi all. I have had no issues connecting my iPhone 4 to my 2011 is250 for both phone and a2dp functions. I just got the new 4s today and now I can't get the stereo (a2dp) to connect. The phone does connect for phone functions.
I know that the 4s implements BT 4.0. I don't think it's an ios5 problem since I was running iOS 5 on my old iPhone 4.
What do you guys think? Are newer 4s owners stuck with USB connectivity for stereo?
Any input? TIA!

I just got a 4S a few days ago; the bluetooth pairs the phone with the car, but when I attempt to voice activate a contact, the phone locates the contact, says it is making the call and then disconnects. When I look at recent calls, the number appears there as if the phone dialed the number, but the phone evidently didn't connect to the car via blue tooth. Is anyone else having this problem?

First trouble shoot is make sure the bluethooth is on on the device and car. To check on the car go to menu audio BT Audio settings and see if the auto blutooth connect is on or off. Next go back and try select audio player, iirc there should be a little BT symbol next to whatever your player is called. If not try selecting it and see if it will pair. If all else fails, delete the portable player out and re-pair it (BT audio settings, register, then from the phone/player do what you normally would to pair the phone - menu settings blutooth setup register pair). Hopefully one of these works for you
