Default Where do you shop for parts and how much does it cost to make it totally sick?

1) Where do you shop for parts for the "big stuff" (body kits, cf hoods, rear diffusers, exhausts, coilovers, etc.)? Is there a good website you guys visit?
2) How much does it cost for all these parts?
3) How much will labor cost? I am a complete noob and would need to have someone do it for me.

I'm just trying to understand how to modify a high performance luxury car and what it would run someone.

depending where your located. stating your in the USA limits the help. certain states have more shops to refer you to.

for the "big stuff" check the vendors section on ClubLexus. how much is it gonna be? well depends if you go authentic or use replicas. reps go much cheaper than authentic, but quality varies. authentic is close to 99% good fitment. cost of parts for a luxury car is going to be much greater than that of hondas, scions, etc. labor also varies with who you go to. If you go to the dealer, you WILL get drain your wallet. Then there's professional shops that paint and install kits and stuff. So depends on who you go to.

http://www.l-tunedparts.com/index.php

Depending on how "sick" you want to go, you could easily spend 10's of thousands of dollars. That's a pretty broad statement.

http://is.sewellparts.com/

They sell OEM parts with discounts to CL members.

Thank you anthrax. (Heh, there's something you don't hear everyday)

Those are exactly the type of stores I'm looking for. But I still haven't found any diffusers or the carbon fiber half-trunk thingy (that covers only around the 'L' emblem but not the whole trunk). But it's really my fault - I guess I just have to pay closer attention to people's signatures when I see ones I like.

BTW, I live in NorCal.

And is this a typo, or truly the worst $10000 you could ever spend? http://www.l-tunedparts.com/product/?id=3236

it has to be a typo. i have shipped many things from japan and something that small is definitely not that expensive.

TOTALLY Sick = Atleast 5K... Its a really open ended question though.. I've seen people drop 15k on their car in this forum and they are still not done yet.

Yep, Rash has a point.. take your time... Always check those websites and our own ISX50 classifieds section... that's where I find most of my parts
