Default SGM Future Mods Photoshop Preview.

Painted rims and emblems in addition to red out tail lights. I want to do this so i went on photoshop and edited a picture of my IS250 to see what it would look like. I like it a lot. Im just waiting til after the winter here to paint the wheels. let me know what you guys think.

It would be a snow plower in snow and i lost 2 bumpers because of it. I can happily say im never dropping another car again.

I would definitely black out the window trim too if you are going with the dark grey/black theme.

I love the window design(only second to the CLS). Id black out the trim if my car was another lighter color because the contrast would naturally bring out the window but if i black out the trim on my sgm that is lost. I tried it on ps but wasn't sold on it. As you can see i put much aesthetic thought into these mods. lol

Its cool. Every one has there own sense of style. For example, i think aftermarket rims and chrome rims look hideous on luxury vehicles. I prefer them more on muscle cars or racer imports. In most cases i dont like any of the after market wheels i see on IS's. From what i know about industrial design most of those wheels are completely contradictory to the design thought process put into the IS. I side more with the OEM factory designs because they were made with the cars lines specifically in mind. Just my thoughts.

the redouts look good. f-sport springs would be better than no drop at all

Do those need new struts or can the stock struts support the drop? I blew a strut 2 times on my accord. Lost 4 ball joints and control arms in separate incidents. Dont put ideas in my head guys lol. Il hate you forever if it doesn't work out lol.

Gotta disagree with you that wheels are made based on a cars body lines. Look how many wheels are available for the IS. Split 5 spoke and mesh. Totally opposite. Your car though.

i wouldn't waste any effort with those rims until you drop the car. It looks silly (4x4) with the wheel gap and small sized rims. The F-sport springs are made or the IS and do not screw up the ride. Keep it Lexus parts and you won't have any hassles.
