Default Best HIDs to buy?

Hey everyone,

Sorry for the noob question but one of my HIDs went out and I want to replace them both at the same time to avoid a future headache.

I have a 2007 IS250awd and the dealership is trying to charge me $200 per bulb not including installation which I think is ridculous...so my plan is to buy a new pair of HIDs and have the dealer install them, but I have abs no idea what I'm doing when looking to buy, so can someone help me out with a specific kit that will fit my car? Looking for that deep blue color...

Thanks.

Some people like the Phillips Ultinon bulbs, which are around $200 for the pair. If you dont want to spend that much on lights, then Garax and Xenon Depot bulbs are definitely high in quality. 8K will give you a nice blue, but 10k will be a deep blue, which is what you said you're looking for

10K will give you that deep blue. Just keep in mind they usually cause cop attention and you will be reducing the amount of light you output on the road at the same time too. I personally wouldn't go over 8k, but if you really want that deep blue 10k is definately it.

Thanks alot guys.

I think Im going to go with the garax 8k or 10k. one other question, i read that some of these kits make it so that you cant use the hi-beams, is that the case with these?

(sorry again if this is a dumb question!!)

No, only LED DRL's will cause you to lose the high beams

Garax 8000K does have a good color, but output, especially when it comes in the rain, could be difficult. I was a former Garax user until I found out they were not that bright that I went with Philips Ultinon 6000K, much better.
