Any further issues with this unit? I am thinking this is the one for me vs. the VAIS MML. How do you find access to USB/iPod when it`s in the glove box? I was thinking of running it to the centre console and adding a port to keep it all neat, that way I can connect flash drives, hard drives or iPod easily and it`s closer to the driver for accessibility. Did it look like there was enough room in the console crevices to put the actual Grom box? Guess I`ll find out soon enough.
Thanks for the great write up!!

Guys

Can someone confirm if bluetooth auto-connects most of the time with manual connect required rarely?

Thx

Thanks for the post - I'm up and running. Also changed out my start button while the radio was pulled out.

Does anyone know if I would be able to integrate the steering wheel phone controls to this unit? My car currently does not have them, but I would be wanting to upgrade to them to answers and hang up call from the steering wheels

Installation follow up - The unit performed very well on an hour staycation road trip over the weekend, however, I have experienced the following minor issues:
Using my phone's navigation and my Ipod simultaneously does not work well. Every time the nav gives a direction or command, the Ipod restarts and reverts to the first song in queue.
Bluetooth streaming loses its connection intermittently.
If you don't have steering wheel controls, all phone functions have to be performed from the phone. The audio controls on the wheel controls the volume and can change the track on both the Ipod and bt streaming.
