Looks like too sharp a line to have been caused by a bumper, might have been a brushguard or trailer hitch or something. Or your sister told a fib..

In any case your insurance should cover it under either collision or uninsured motorist, depending on the policy and state.

Definitely go back and look for security cameras. It'll be more difficult now but it would have been best to file a police report at the time.

yeah man, there is no transfer or nothing. I think she took a corner too sharply then accelerated through rather than backing up...

In Florida Uninsured motorist coverage only covers medical bills. It would have to be done through his collision.
