Hey guys, I have been lurking this forum since almost 2 years ago when I still had the acura. Im in process of talking to Lexus dealership on '12 IS350 F-sports. I have been offered at $42k + ttl. Do you think I can do better? any advice welcome!!

With the 3IS around the corner you can probably do better. I'd offer $40.5k OTD and walk when (not if - when) they say "no." Then wait a couple of weeks.
If they don't contact you, you can come back and try to re-negotiate. Maybe offer $41k or $41.5k OTD.
Lowball and wait them out, though.

Prices is really gonna vary depending where you're at. I havent looked at the market lately to see how much they are going for but the only members I know that has been on the forums for a while that upgraded from older 2IS's to 2012 f sports is Vroomin350 RastaRacer and Individual . They could prob give you better advice than anyone on the forums on how much you should pay for one. Hoovey2411 and JeffLange both work for Lexus they would probably have a good idea as well. All of these guys have been pretty helpful with others on the forums so hopefully they will chime in on this thread

I know people always say why wait for the new model because there will always be a new model coming, but in this case, we are so close to the new model coming out, if you can wait at all I would recommend you do. You don't want that possible regret in a few months....
