Default Issue with speedometer and tachometer needles

I tried to search this issue but I didn't even know what to call.

Basically, the needles on both speedometer and tachometer sometimes don't rotate when I start the car. They just stay there. They work just fine after that. Is there any setting that I don't know that might solve this issue?

Thanks in advance!

There was a thread about a similar issue. Turns out it was the battery for a lot of people. Try changing the battery, especially if its never been changed before.

Really? Just wanna make sure that you understand the problem. You know that the needles rotate (just like warming up) just after you push the start button. So the needles sometimes don't do that. If you think about the same problem then I will try getting a new battery.

But it's weird though, there is no problem at all with starting up the engine.

Thanks!

It was me that posted this about a week ago. I was having the same problem and when I took it in I asked them to check my battery. Sure enough it didn't pass the test so they replaced it for free since it was still under warranty and my needles are back to normal.

Oh man thanks for clarifying. I can't watch youtube at work so I will watch it later. I will be on my way to Costco then. Get a Kirkland battery.
