Default Quick question on performance.

I was wondering if the car loses its "new car" driving comfort meaning the smooth ride and seamless acceleration on the interstate. I know all cars eventually develop vibrations and what not over time, just seeing if it'd happen within a certain time? I'm asking because my last car (ford explorer) the ride was horrible at 100,000 miles (car would be bumpy on interstate and just would be an overall uncomfortable ride.

That's a day and night comparison imo... I believe if you take good care and follow sheduled maintenance it would be just fine . G luck

Regular maintenance goes a long way. My 03' Explorer with 93K on the clock is as solid as the day we bought it. That said, the "driving comfort and smooth ride" are going to be different in your unibody Lexus than your body on frame Explorer

It will be smoother for way longer. When ride comfort starts suffering, replace your shocks/coils
