search on eBay for Putco Jet Yellow bulbs, cheaper shipping cost.

Not sure how or what pricing you are referring to. If someone wants to sell the product and lose money I guess it's their discretion. You are in Canada so unfortunately there are slightly higher shipping costs.

thanks. ya its alot brighter and more yellow. the halogens are more of a golden yellow with less output. i guess for looks. i drive to work at 5 in the morning mon-fri and i turn them on then. big difference from halogens to hids.

friendly advice - don't buy Luminics....1 of mine just went out after very little use. I put Nokya's in another car at the same time (about 2 months ago), and they're still working.

Hmm I think I'm going to order the putco from kbcars. I read that post Steve linked and I like the color of the putco and they seem to rate more reliable than other brands.

The fogs are 9006 style bulbs correct? I think I remember seeing Steve say something about not needing the XS versions because they have a different connector?

Hey,

That is correct. You would need to get the "9006" fitment and not the "9006XS"

many times I have seen yellow bulbs and protective film melt...

And for the cost these days, for the most yellow output..

3k hid plug and play kit w/ yellow protective film / overlay would be the best value for your money..HID's run a tad bit cooler then halogen, so melting will not occur.
