Holla if you HATE your local Dealer, of if they are just crooks.
Lexus of Omaha is the BIGGEST waste of a dealer ever... you call for a TSB they try and give you the run around, if you buy parts they charge you double... I have a reciept here for two Oil filters for an IS250 for $20.00, from what I can order SHIPPED from Sewell for like 11 bucks... I went to buy Brake Fluid.... $14.95 for one!!! I ordered 3 shipped from Seawell for less then 20 bucks... Every time I go there they want to charge me hundreds of dollars for unnecessary work, or just outrageous amounts for general maintanince. I personally now go to the dealer on guard that they are trying to rip me off, what is really sad is I see people in the lobby waiting for their cars paying thousands of dollars because they dont know better!

It's not anything new that dealers up-charge on parts. It's just the way dealerships are. If your going to a dealership that is really pushing you on things you don't need, might be time to find a new dealership to take your car to. Maintenance is pretty expensive at any dealership though, someone has to pay for the building, utilities, etc and for all those "freebies" in the lobby

Dealers charge that much because people don't know how to do enough research.
Labor charges are at least $100 per hour on our cars. Parts cost $$$$ at dealers. If you know how to change an oil you can save a ton of money over time or take it else for cheaper.
There are some things to service your car at a dealer and there are some parts to buy from dealer. If you go in for something like a windshield washer fluid, you are asking to be ripped off.
Just the general stuff from Autozone and save $.

Lexus of Westminster in socal is pretty decent. My SA Devon Hardwick is pretty dope too. She always goes out of her way for me and my constant warranty work.
They had a better deal on the f-sport intake than sewell too.
I think it just depends on the dealership and the area. Either way though anything dealership is going to cost you more $$$ so accept it or take your car to a local hole in the wall shop.
