hey guys, im trying to install my real vertex rear but having some problems. are you guys installing the lip on first then peel the 3m tape that runs along the top of it off? my friend and i tried linint it up then peeling the tape but the exhaust hole one one side is touching the HKS hi power exhaust.

any one run into problems instlling the rear with HKS exhaust?

any tips?

its hard with the 3m tape because once you peel the tape you pretty much have one shot to line it up right.

The thing is that you don't wanna peel the entire backing of the tape when you start. Only peel about 2 inches off and fold the backing over onto the outside of the lip and tape it down. Install the lip to how you want it, then start peeling the tape when you have it set. As you're pulling the tape backing, press the lip against the bumper. Example of what I mean by folding it over.

hey man, im not understanding what you mean by peel the tape back and tape it down? my rear didn't come with those tapes...just 3 small rolls of double sided tape, which i had to get more 3m tape. but you gave me an idea of peeling the tape alittle at a time and pressing on the rear agaisnt the bumper as i go.....
