Default Video: my summer project finished!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Edit: Page 3 contains pictures of how to fix the dashboard rattle (worked for me).

Warning: DO THE FOLLOWING AT YOUR OWN RISK. I WILL
NOT BE RELIABLE FOR ANYTHING.

This is my contribution to CL. This video contains bunch pictures and its kind of long but it contains useful information/pics for following mods:

1) Halos/ blackout housing ( pain in the butt mod)
2) Alarm System upgrade
3) Squeaky Seat Fixed ( atleast for me)
4) Carbon fiber interior ( couldn't have done this without my gf at specially the navi part)
5) Led door handle ( interior and exterior)
6) JDM turn signal mirrors ( really straight forward)
7) LED cup holder ( MUST DO MOD)

Read following DIY before attempting mods:

Upgrading the alarm system:

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...ory-alarm.html

Carbon Fiber ( steering wheel):

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...k-warning.html

Blackout housing/ halos:

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...eadlights.html

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...r-alright.html

Led cup holder:

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...older-led.html

Door handle LED ( exterior):

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...r-handles.html

Door handle LED ( interior):

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...-cup-leds.html

JDM turn signal mirror:

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...k-warning.html

All of the information was on CL. i just put it together so i don't take any credit for anything. Without the DIY i doubt i will be done by now so thank you to all the members for providing me with great information.

what else you want to know...i will tell...its pretty simple..take the back portion of the seat out like in the video...then find out where the foam piece is worn out do to wear and tear..then just add a foam/rubber piece... you just have to play around with it little bit to find out where the squeaky noise is coming from...you wont find out until you open it up or your problem could be something else as well check this thread out:

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...aky-seats.html

and this TSIB:
http://www.lexustsb.com/getattachmen...A2LnBkZg%3D%3D

Lmk if you need help with anything.

This is my first time opening up a car. I never had any experience regarding cars. At sometime you just have to grow some ball and just do it. IMO most of this mods aren't hard at all. It just takes ***** to get started. If you do decide to start u should start in following order easy to hardest:

1) LED cup holder ( easiest mod a little kid can do this)
2) Carbon fiber ( not the navi part everything else is easy )
3) JDM turn signal ( expensive but worth it)
4) Alarm system ( not hard as it looks)
5) LEd door handles interior ( Got most compliment from the passengers with this mod)
6) LEd door handles exterior ( IMO if you have black car dont do this mod because the lights arent that bright. i mean you can notice but not that much.)
7) halos/ blackout ( most riskiest if you dont do it right the water will get into headlights but damn it look so nice )
