Lowered as a Daily Driver?
I'm just curious how many of you actually DD your lowered IS. I see all these pics and think "Damn, that looks sick! Sucks that you can't drive your car." As much as I like the look of our IS's lowered, I'm going to have to stick with the stock ride height on the Sports suspension because I DD my car.

Daily driving a "slammed" car isn't THAT HARD. If you can't daily drive a car on lowering springs, without any issues, you probably should rethink driving at all.

I wonder how much of it has to do with where you live? The roads up here in the Pacific Northwest are pretty crappy. I know the northeast is the same way from my experiences in Boston and Buffalo. Is it possible that the roads down south hold up longer and make it more realistic to drive a slammed car? I see almost zero cars lowered like lexusis305 or JZZ30TT's around here.

Yea i wanted to do that but i feel like my shocks will blow out early. So i looked to do a shock+spring combo but that price = coilovers lol. Even with the EZs i worry that the shocks wont last long... im nervous but im on a budget and dont wanna have to spend more money on the BC racing coilovers. Also raising it up for winter crossed my mind.

Pretty much common sense. If you drop the heck out of it, of course there's going to be some issues driving. If you have a mild drop, it's no problem as a DD.
