How will the hot sun affect the tape? Really sticky once removed?
Nope. It's low tack to begin with actually. I've done it before in hot weather and in rain. The heat doesn't have much of an effect on it actually. Rain actually made some of mine come off before, but i probably cuda done a better job taping it too

For me it left some streaks that were tough to remove, but came off anyways. It did mess up my lip, but it was self painted and clear coated so maybe that's why.
