It's a nice option. How much did it run you? I've always wanted something to match the dark birds eye maple.

Just to answer some of the questions being asked:

1) Its just as smooth and shines just like the oem pieces (pics probably dont do it much justice).

2) prices varies for different companies and how many pieces you are looking to dip. You are able to dip basically any hard piece on the car, plastic, metal, etc.

for more info:
http://www.h2oprinters.com/hydro-dipping-process.php
(im in no way promoting this shop or are affiliated w/them)

i personally got mine done at dip-tech but they are now out of business. I did find another shop in my area (provided in the link above) that I will be getting some other pieces dipped at H2O printers.

3) For all the pieces i did it ran about 700 with shipping to/from

4) There are a few shops in Texas, and Florida that i know of.

5) i can try to answer any other questions if i missed any, thanks

Looks like it was well done and the process looks nice, but I don't like the final result. Looked better before.

But that doesn't really matter, as long as you like it.

IMO looks really good on the shifter plate; flows real well with the grey interior. The rest was a little over-kill, but as long as you like it...props!
