I love how everyone keeps saying "Easily buffed out" but its to the bare metal. It's not gonna happen. Maybe the picture didn't do it justice.

sorry to see that scratch. scratchx has done wonders for my small scratches but the key difference is that i could pass the "fingernail test" - whereas you can't. If your fingernail catches chances are slim to none that you can cover up the scratch with just buffing. Maybe a good detailer may be able to do some magic with touch up paint. It's a very tedious and time consuming job though - (translate that to expensive). good luck!

Traded the car in on an IS-F today. The scratch was annoying me.

No but it's funny to think of it that way.

Epic end to a scratch tale.

Nice upgrade!

And yes, a scratch that is fingernail deep is incredibly hard, if not impossible, to remove with a simple dual action random orbital polisher. I've never been able to remove any scratch like that with my PC 7424 with any pad or polish combination.

wow, i guess the 'scratch' gave you the itch for the is-f. nicely done.

after buying my car in less than a month some a$$wipe scuffed my front bumper, too. took me a lot of time to get it out (it's still barely visible). i hate inconsiderate people!
