Congrats on the new ride. That evo looks like it was pretty fun to drive. Welcome to CL.

Welcome to CL. A lot of people get the F Sport intake cause its legal in CA and its a factory part. The Joe Z is proven to have the highest HP increase. I personally think it'll be just a noise increase with minimal HP increase. Get what you want if it's in your budget. The exhausts mentioned are axle back by the way. Good luck and use the search function to find out questions.

Must do F-Sport rear sway bar at least, it's only $152 from Sewell and you can install it yourself relatively easily. I think it's the best bang-for-your-buck mod out there for the IS - immediate handling improvement with no affect on ride quality.

Good color choice and welcome!! I'll be purchasing a product called MAPECU3 that supposedly will allow for manual a/f ratio changes through the rpm range.

Pepos, from Greece I think, purchased one for his supercharged IS250 and is claiming 28 whp at midrange and about 20 at top end. I'm trying to make 300whp so this tune and the PPE headers should be very close.

That is, if it can actually trick the ecu into doing what I want. So there might be something on the horizon for a tune. Although it isnt exactly cheap at over $800. I'll be sure to do a write up on the whole deal.

Cool post on how you like the M2. I'm still stuck on purchasing it or a Tanabe Medallion.

Welcome to CL! Congrats on the IS! You'll find that although it may not be as fun to drive as your Evo, it's just as fun to modify

What kind of wheels were you considering?

I am not sure, I don't know what wheels will fit without rubbing. Have yet to do any research on the wheel sizes for the Lexus

I hate rubbing and probably won't lower it

I know 19x8.5 and 19x10 fit. I'm not sure how aggressive you can get with offset if you're not going to lower it. I would suggest at least checking out the F-sport springs if you're going to spend dough on rims.
