Anyone has step by step on how to replace bulb/fix light by gear shift in the center console for 2006 IS 250. Please see Pic. Posted in the Maintenance forum, not much on the topic.

take off the silver molding on the side of the dash, slide the center console back, then grab from the front of the console where the ashtray is and pull it up, now remove the wire that are under there to flip the console over once it is over there is a small black cap remove that and the bulb is in there

thanks... way easier that I thought. I wonder if an LED would make a difference in there. hmm...

i have white LED in mine only the N and R is lighted up green and red and the rest is white

anybody have a actual pic of this bulb thats burnt out? I dont see a black cap i see black tape that is covering something is that it?
