Default New tires pull to right?

I had an alignment done when I put on my old tires a few years ago, and my IS tracked perfectly down the road. Recently, I had new tires put on - Michellin PS2 AS Plus - and now my car pulls to the right. It's just a little, but it's annoying. I checked the air pressure. What is it about new tires that would cause that?

If I tried to explain why some new tires cause this issue, it would be pure speculation on my part but I think it has something to do with how the belts are seated. Perhaps some of our tire expert members can elaborate. I have had this issue on many vehicles, most recently on my ls460. Assuming alignment was not an issue, I resolved it to my satisfaction by rotating left to right, front to back or X. Obviously, if your tires are uni-directional, you can only go front to back/back to front. Rotation can sometimes neutralize the offending tire(s). Anyway, that is my thoughts and I am sticking with them.

Its been a couple years since you've got an alignment? Are the front and back tires different?

I kid you not when I say the EXACT same thing happened to me. I had perfect wheel alignment for the longest. As soon as I had my 2 front tires replaced with new ones, my car started pulling slightly to the right.

Same issue here. Had alignment done and same issue. I've learned to just live with it.

Yep. If you don't hit any real bumps to knock it out of alignment, it should stay aligned. The tires are all the same, except for the size, of course.

Unfortunately, since the IS has 225 front, and 255 rear, and the tires are unidirectional, I don't have the option of any kind of rotation.
