You can ask for a lower monthly, but if the numbers don't work the lease company/dealer won't do it. Your problem is paying off 3 cars at the same time. ~$245 of you monthly is for the old cars!

I know, I need to stop this impulse buying *****. I promised myself, once I get the IS 250 that would be it for me until I finish the lease. No more impulse buying LOL

First of all...do yourself a favor and don't go from an EVO to a 250...you should get a 350. That being said, you always want to put as little "down" on a lease as possible. Remember you're renting this car and as someone said before, unless you plan to buy it at the end of the lease, you will have NO positive equity in anything. If it was me, I would be accepting the deal on the EVO, there isn't any way around that number I don't think, but try and get them down to the $600-$650 range on your monthly. Make this deal right so that in a year and half when you decide you're over this car and want something else, you're not so upside down on this one too that you're paying even more on the next one. Those numbers in your first post sound like a 350 deal along with your EVO. I would try and go $1200-$1500 down and get your monthly payment to $400-$425 on the IS and then except you're going to pay $200 or whatever on top for the EVO.

Depending on the lease money factor usually a monthly payment will be approx. $20 for every $1000 you have in the lease. So consider that..the more in the lease the higher your payments. So as others have said your almost $10k upside down is tacting on approx. $200 to your monthly payment.

If the Lexus has nav it's OK considering the fact u carrying money from two cars. If I were you I would do myself a favor and stop trading cars unless you like paying so much monthly. When I'm upside down I jus pay the difference and start over. If you gonna pay a ton extra already u may as well get 350 man GL with ur decision.

Time to stop the impulse buying and get your finances in order because you're obviously blowing a lot of money on a depreciating asset. I'm surprised that nobody in your family hasn't said anything about your wasteful spending. As a token of advice I would sell the car private party and payoff whatever difference you owe and start over with something more sensible. You say that you want to just get the is and you'll be done but we all know that impulse buyers are never done. And if you frequent this site you'll start modifying your car and next thing you know you'll be blowing thousands of dollars on a rental. Or worse you'll want to move over to an isf and just dig yourself a bigger financial hole.

I'm thinking the way I'm paying my evo now including gas, it's like I'm paying for the IS, they're actually the same amount when you add it up.

Evo $616 plus $320/month gas = $936
IS $764 plus $200/month gas = $964

Only $28 difference. Don't how much the insurance would cost on the IS though. I'm paying $120 on the Evo

The IS takes premium also, but I know the EVO sucks on mileage! I did almost the exact thing you did. I traded my truck in on a GTS then 2 weeks later traded the GTS for my IS 250 and I don't regret it at all. I only lost 4k on the Lancer though. I will say one thing though, I dove a RalliArt when I was looking at the GTS (didn't have an EVO in stock) and it fun as ****!! The IS ain't gonna perform like that EVO lol, but I'm not exactly a fast car person so the luxury of the IS way outweighs the performance for me

Remember that dealerships always try and get you to forget what your actually paying for the car. They say well, what do you need your monthly payment at. Don't forget you also need to get a good deal on the purchase price. That has a lot to say how much you could be upside down if you get out of the lease early.

I just got my 2011 IS250 F Sport with Nav and Hid/LEDs for $36,700. I feel I could have done better, but was tired of dealing with it for the day. They kept saying how they would not be getting any more F Sports in for a while because of the Japan situation. Etc.

Difference is you'll own the Evo at the end while the is you'll be returning it in the end and not have anything to show for.
