For the calipers? Mine are stock IS350 calipers which are bigger then IS250's. I used the Dupli-Color Caliper Paint Kit I found on eBay for $22. It's good so far but I heard it will start to flake and stuff after a year or so. I'd recommend spending an extra $15 or so for G2 caliper paint.

Yup, mine's Obsidian. If you have the stock 17's, it'll look like that when about done. I helped a friend paint his black but he has a white IS250 rather than black. I think it won't great unless lowered because the IS250 AWDs seem to have a bigger gap.

The result was way better than Plasti-Dip alone and it costs under $20 to do all four wheels. Yes, it's removable too!

@chi123 i see you're in chicago! i am too, would love to see that is350!

plasti dipped my wheels and grill before this past winter. put on 4-5 coats and it looked great for a few months but after the winter with all the snow, salt, and curb rash the plasti dip is starting to peel now and is also discolored. I do plan on peeling it off and re plasti dipping them again as soon as it gets nice out and this time I'm definitely going to put some kind of clear coat on it. Either dupli color or the plasti dip glossifier. the grill still looks perfect

here are pics right after it was done

Please don't plasti dip them. Every Lexus I've seen with the wheels plasti dipped I have never liked. I guess they just look too flat and cheap to me. I'd honestly rather just save and get them powder coated, or buy aftermarket.. Up to you though in the end.

Also they're not called "rims" , they're called wheels. The rim is just the outer part of the wheel. Not trying to be "that guy" but I just got off the phone with a friend who kept calling his civic a "v4" lol.
