You're correct. Splicing the wires was a mistake I made and I revised. I'm confused though how some recent posts I've read stated that they had to splice the wires to get it to work. I guess I'd have to see a picture of the harness connector.

I am going to quickly hate but it seems like too much work involved, for something that cost $1000+ I would of thought they would have made it an easier plug and play.... still want them though

If you buy the Sewell ones, there is absolutely no wire splicing involved since they did it for you already, completely plug and play. All you have to do is transfer the ballasts and hid bulbs from the existing headlights over (that has been talked in long in several threads) simple as that. You'll love it, trust me.

he's right......i took his words from his other post and i purchased the same night. Very easy to transfer the ballast and bulbs, little modification to the black plastic piece that support the bumper and the rest is plug & play. Best mod for your $.

How do you get the pins out and moved around in the headlight harness?

Edit: got it. You have to remove the white plastic cap to get in there to hit the clip.
