Two car seat will not fit in the back of the IS unless you are 5ft nothing and drive with your knees in the dash. I'm 5'10" and it sucks trying to drive with them. I'm sure those kids over 6 years and 60 lbs would fit fine however.
I dropped stock shoes on and left the lowering springs in.
I bought a Dodge 3500 Megacab Diesel truck.

Here's a 101k mile IS350 NAV in black for 17,881 - so that's about what I said they would turn around and ask for your old one

That sounds about right. When I was at Newport Lexus a few weeks back looking at the CT200h, the salesman asked me if I wanted to trade my car in. I told him I was planning on selling it private party. He said they would match the private party value. I told him it was around $18,000 and he instantly said oh we can't do that, we could give you $13,000. My IS350 is also an 06 with luxury package with GPS/ML and all the other goodies. I was at about 88,000 miles at the time.

Good thread. I call my insurance company and they told me that they use values from JD Power and Assoc. I have looked at the private party values for my car in Kelly BB, and NADA. I have an '07 350 with 63k miles on it.

You got owned used car prices are HIGH right now even with high mileage. For example I saw a 07 civic si for sale with 120k miles for 13k LOL 13K!!!!
You should of sold it private party on auto trader or cars.com and priced it at 14.8. Your car would of sold in a week. Dealer prices and private party prices are way too high. So people are looking for fair prices.
On another note ...I saw a 06 Acura RL local for 18k w/ 87k miles F that!!! Right next to it was a 07 TSX for 19K with 60K miles WHAT!!!
I want to trade in my 3 for a mazdaspeed 3 but, I will wait till the holiday season to buy cause prices are STUPID now.

Sorry to hear about that man...
That's why I always go through Private sale now. I got raped once when I traded in my Nissan for a Honda I paid like 22 Grand for it and then traded in for 11K in year later.
Dealers will always low ball you, they want to make the most money out of it. Buy low... sell high is their motto.

A trade-in is basically pawning your car - they still have to turn a profit. So find market value (say 18000) and subtract 25% for dealer markup; that's what you can expect to get on trade.

Umm, yes. Maybe down in Redneck SC, but up here in NY that car would fetch 15k-17k depending on condition
Heres one, the guy is asking 24k, he has 82k miles. Yea he wont get 24k, but he'll def get 20k.

The spread between trade and buy price is at an all time high. That's why people are saying "used car prices are high". Unfortunately the trade-in prices are low! Definitely not the time to trade-in a car right now but you should be able to sell it privately for a decent price. Those people who say they are getting a great price for their trades at dealerships are probably over-paying for the new car.

i did my trade in at an infiniti dealership and they listed my rx for 18 and change after they detailed it...it wasnt up after a week so they sold it im guessing or maybe did a trade with the naples lexus dealership either way what ive seen prices in general in naples/bonita springs are inflated because there are so many rich people down there. Dont beat yourself up about it...trade ins are usually crappy experiences
