False Check Engine Light Codes?

False Check Engine Light Codes?
My CEL has come on three times in the last four months. First time they did the top end cleaning. Second time they said nothing was wrong. Third time I took it to Napa and they found codes P0500, P0894, P2714.
I just found this article on RepairPal. Anyone have any info?
