Default TPMS sensor on Genesis wheels?

I am wondering if the tpms sensor from Is350 a bolt on affair for a genesis track wheels. I like the way the wheels look on our car but dont want the blinking light on the dash if I cant use the tpms sensor. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I'm doing this setup tomorrow. I was told by one of the members on here that it will work for the genesis track wheels. I think they'll have to strap it down with a metal band though. I'll find out soon enough though and will let you know.

Thanks for the info . Can you snap a couple of pics for me. Also if I am buying an ebay one do I have to get them reprogrammed? Thanks for your information

Hey, bro...So I decided to get just the wheels and tpms sensors mounted on. The eBay TPMS sensors will not need to be strapped down by a band. However, you will need a nut to keep the sensors in place. The shop ended up using the ones from my stock wheels since I won't be using them until winter time. Programming will need to be done by either a Lexus or Toyota dealership. Toyota will probably do it for cheaper. Here's a picture of my SUV... I'll be lowering her tomorrow with BC Coilovers.

thanks for the pic and info bro. mine looks like your car but its a glacier mica color. Looks nice and with a drop gunna look really nice. Oh by the way, what size tires did you end up using or did you just keep the stock genesis tires. thanks again.

I'm using 235/35/19 all around. My IS250 is AWD so I had to try and keep it close to the stock overall diameter as much as possible. I don't think it matters too much for the IS350. I'm pretty sure Jeff can tell you more about his tire setup since he has a 350.

Stock Genesis tires for now.

225/40/19 and 245/40/19.

When I buy new tires when these are dead I think Im going with 235/35/19 and 255/35/19

No clue but tire shop did it with no problems. I assume the genesis has TMPS so they probably have the mounts.
