Question IS-F bumper & grill conversion

My bumper is pretty beat up. With holes from the front plate bracket and screws from the plate there's 4 holes on there. Instead of replacing the bumper cover with a stock one from Sewell I figure I can replace the bumper with an IS-F style and grill.

Saw this on the fleabay and seems like a good deal. I was just wondering how the quality of this was and has anyone tried it before.

ehhhh, looks a bit awkward to me...

but if you want to get it just a little warning about ebay kits...

Its a hit or miss with fitment it seems to be. I got my INGS replica kit from ebay and it fit good, just a little shaving and it was on!

My friend got a ebay kit for his TL and fitment was horrible.

You take a chance for a good deal.

This has not been done yet. All the previous IS-F conversion uses real IS-F body parts, forcing them to also either use IS-F fenders, and hood; or they had to significantly alter the bumper. This is the first of its kind I have seen that is a direct bolt on for the 2is without having to use the IS-F hood.

I say if your willing to risk 85 dollars (the price of exchange) go ahead, you'll be the first to do this

I think that will look way awkward on a stock car...just like the one in the picture. I say you're better off going w/ the stock bumper unless you're planning on converting the whole car to the ISF look.

Looks kinda cheap. It's a 50-50 I think on quality and fitment.

looks like a steaming pile of cow****. unless you got a hookup with a guy thats good at bondo and painting, i wouldnt chance it. otherwise, if you take the time with bondo'ing/cutting the seams, and painting pieces black and body color, then it could come out decent.

I DOOO think its worth a shot if you were considering doing a full-on ISF conversion....spend a couple bucks to test the fitment, of say, a side skirt...if you like it, then go ahead and order everything else.

It doesn't give a buyer good confidence if they can't even spell Lexus right. Secondly, that picture installed on a car looks a little off. Maybe the piece wasn't painted and they left it flat. If they had more pictures and close ups then it would be easy to take the plunge. As the way it's listed now you're taking a bigger chance.
