Exclamation My wheels finally came home - now need opinions on new ones

So my wheels came home but they're not what I expected. The finish is just too dark for my taste. I was talking to the company about returning it but i'm confused about how that works. They told me to send it back to them for a refund but will the money to ship still come out of my pocket since the wheels came with free shipping?

BBS CH Reps
Silver
19x8"

You can see by the contrast of the finish and the cap that the silver cap was more of what I was looking for.

What wheels do you guys think should be my next set?

Since i will be returning these I was hoping to get some input on my next set. I was into the BBS CH's but then really started liking something with a lip. I haven't seen the BBS RS/GT Reps before and my budget is was lower than the real deal.

What do you guys think for wheels maybe < $1500?

You should pay for shipping to return the wheels. The wheel company shouldn't be penalized because you didn't like the wheels you ordered.

Also, there's no such thing as "free shipping". Shipping costs money, but vendors hide the cost in the price of the wheels.

BTW, if you want something along the same style but a little lighter, take a look at the LC818 in smoked chrome. It matches your budget.

I completely agree with what you said about shipping.

I do like the concave-ish LC818 style but I'd rather have it in Silver/machined finish. I'm over the stormtrooper look though. I'm going for more of the clean look

trust me. I've been searching for wheels for weeks. Wheeldude, lextuners, etc. If the Linea Corse Lemans are anything like the other BBS LM replicas, i'll pass. I don't want to get a set of wheels that I have to run spacers just to clear the brakes again

How about painting them? For a little more than shipping if you have the hook up you can get them painted whatever color you want!

Yeah they are from Sonictuning. The rep i was talking to even told me they were Silver but after I sent him the pic he said it was indeed Silver but with a dark clearcoat.

I did think about painting these then figured just get a different set all together.

I actually brought these out to the car and placed them where my wheels are now and they just look way to dark for the theme i was goin for. Car is Starfire Pearl
