Default chrIS250...going hard

instead of posting pictures in the multiple picture sharing threads, im making a thread of the progress of my current wheels.

as some of you know, i've parted ways with my volk GT-V's very quickly, under 2 weeks to be exact,

and i just could not pass up this set of brand new, still in the boxes, Volk TE37's in 19". traded my gt-v's for these within 2 hours of talking to the guy via text message and ended up driving to his house to do the swap.

and a side shot of the fronts

I'm not going to reveal the offsets because, well, everyone needs to experiment on their own, just like i did. Trial and error. Learn from previous mistakes.

but i will tell you that they are 19x9.5 19x11. yes, you read that correctly, 11 in the rear!

borrowed my buddy's fender roller and went from this:

to this:

(dont mind the silencers, only temporary)

I'm going to keep updating this thread as we go along so stay tuned!

Crazy pull on the rear fenders - good luck! I can't wait to see the finished product.

I thought your GT-V's were sick, but you can't go wrong with TE-37's

That's sick. I think you'll be the most aggressive setup in the 2IS community

i did the roll/pull myself. its super easy when you're working on a 35k lexus and not some nissan 240. You for sure cannot rush this process, otherwise your roll will be all wavy and look like michael j foxx did it for you. also, you definitely will need a heat gun, otherwise your paint will crack and you'll be SOL.

nice job rolling the fenders, mine got all wavy when and even dimpled a little close to the door. I can clear the upper fender fine, i just cant clear where the rear bumper meets the fender. I see yours kind of comes back in at that spot as well. Are you going to be able to pull that out? Because that part will affect you the most with that aggressive of a setup. Also do you have any camber arms?
