Default L-SB-0155-08 Camshaft gear assembly??!?!

K - Took it in for the fuel pressure recall, noisy window motor, and occasional grinding noise on start.

"Updated camshaft gears"

I searched the above service bulletin number in the forum but came up empty.
Can anyone enlighten my on this SB??

Thanks

Yup, that's the old one, apparently there has been several rounds of fixes for the same problem.
I did find a monster thread on this subject through google... but nothing using the advanced search function on this forum??

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...d-threads.html

Hopefully if someone else now searches this they will find it via my thread title.
Thanks

I updated my original post to include the one for the 350 well.

I had this fixed on my car and originally sent Lexus the 350 (didn't know there was as 250 one at the time) version of the TSB and described the problem I had on the 250. Based on what I described, Lexus went ahead and approved the repair without needing to replicate the issue before repairing.

Is there an updated one that includes the 08 is250 as well? about to take it to the dealer again to see if they can replicate it this time, figure it might help to have that on me.

Most updated TSIB for IS250 Cam Gear Issue is L-SB-0155-08. IS350 is L-SB-0156-08.

I had this done on my 07 250 last week. So far, so good. The number of recalls we have had with this car makes me question how long it will last.

Anyone know if this problem persists on 2011 IS350? I think I'm having this problem but the dealer is saying this is "normal."
